Who we are

What we collect
Details you give us when you email, phone or message us: your name, contact details and what you ask about (for example a discovery flight, training or a paramotor).
Anonymous website statistics through Google Analytics: pages viewed, clicks on our contact and booking links, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies for this.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to arrange and run flights and training, to keep records we are required to keep, and to understand which parts of the site help people so we can improve it. We do not sell personal information.
Other services on this site
The site is hosted by Vercel. Fonts load from Google Fonts. The Thinking of Flying page shows Google Maps images of our training locations, and clicking one opens Google Maps. These providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies. Our student training portal at academy.ppg.co.za is a separate system; students' details there are used to run their training.
Sharing
We share personal information only where needed to deliver what you asked for (for example registering a student with SAHPA), with the service providers above, or where the law requires it.
Your rights (POPIA)
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us at the address above. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
Turning off analytics
You can block Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (search "Google Analytics opt-out add-on"), or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.
Changes
We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
